Friends often come up to me and ask me about the red bracelet I wear. Well, I wear it so I can keep my daughter close to me. I have been wearing my bracelet for over a year now, and have not and will not take it off until after we come home with our daughter. I want to save it for her and put it in her baby book. There may never be photos of my swollen belly for her to point at, but she will be able to point at that bracelet. I want her to know that we never stopped thinking about her. I want her to know that she was always close to us. Both Jack and Ella know what the bracelet means and both know it doesn't come off mommy's wrist. Ella will occasionally point to it and say, "China." I can't wait for the day when it is no longer a part of me, because that means our precious daughter will be home with her forever family.
