Bindi Cat and "The Wish"
So this past Saturday, I headed up north about 50 miles or so and went to pick up our new Siamese cat. Back in October, our beloved Asahi got out the back door and was never to be seen again. I still think someone in the neighborhood has her and I'm waiting to see her little head looking out a window as I drive down the street. Anyway, I digress. So, originally I made this grand statement that once our animals "went" that we would not replace them. You all know I have a love hate relationship with our dog Charlie (I hate the fur, I love the companionship she brings blah, blah, blah). But, I came to realize that Asahi was not only my beloved pet, but she really helped to calm me down. I swear my blood pressure has sky rocketed since she has left. So, I was cruising the net and I found a breeder close to where I live and the rest is history. Bindi (and no she is not named after the Crocodile Hunter's daughter) is 11 weeks old and the kids LOVE her. They constantly want to pick her up and will not get our of the poor things face (I hate to see how they will be when their little sister comes home). Ella refers to her as "Bindi Cat" or "Bindi Boo." So, I'm sure those nicknames will stick. Below are a few pics of our new kitty. Enjoy!
"The Wish" Ever since I told Ella that we were getting a new kitten she has been telling me that she wants the kitty to sleep with her. Well tonight, she got her wish.
As of 10:30pm, the cat is still in there with her. It's too cute.

I didn't give you the gift of life, but in my heart I know. The love I feel is deep and real, as if it had been so. For us to have each other is like a dream come true! No, I didn't give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you. Author unknown
