Snow Day

So, apparently for the first time in something like over 10 years, we got snow....in March..in the South. The kids had off from school and we played a bit in the snow before I had to log on for work. Luckily, my mom saved the day and watched the kids for me after I got through one meeting. You see, I went downstairs after the meeting was over and the kids had plowed through a large bag of trail mix and were cutting into another bag of candy. When I asked Jack what they were doing, he told me "Having a picnic!" After that we trekked on over to Nanny and Pop pop's house. Thank you Nanny for saving the day today....and maybe tomorrow as well!

Here are a few pics from this morning. We did make a baby snowman today. It seemed extremely puny in comparison to the ones we saw on the way to Nanny's house....but ours was the cutest with his baby carrot nose and peanut eyes.

Notice the cute peanut eyes....obviously this was done PRIOR to the kids munching through the trail mix.
